Andrew and Abby Borden got their whacks again on Monday in a re-enactment at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, the site of the infamous 1892 murders.

This time around, the History Channel was behind the camera, filming the mock murder scenes and researching paranormal happenings at the house for an episode of "Monster Quest" to air in the summer or fall.

A Personal Letter From Rebecca Shott Muller

Dear Lee Ann,

My husband and I spent the night at your bed and breakfast in the  John Morse room for the first night of our honeymoon on October 10,  2007.  It has taken me a while, but I would like to thank you for our  wonderful stay!  It was such an experience and we were happy that you  spent a few private moments with us after showing us our room to get  to know you a little better.  We have been raving about how you and  Mr. Wood have done a fantastic job reviving the house and grounds to  match the original stature.  Aside from preserving history as it  should be, the house was also very well kept.

We are actually returning with my parents in May for a day tour and  hope that you will be there to meet them.  Hans, my husband, and I  have talked so much about you and our short experience.  We are also  looking to come back and stay another night or two later this year.

I would also like to introduce you to who I actually am, though it was  kept quiet for the most part during our visit.  I am not very open  about it though my information is spread through word of mouth.  I am  a born clairvoyant and instead of exploiting people with abilities or  the idea of ghosts in our world, I prefer to silently research it,  write about it and help those in need or who come to me for assistance  in understanding the idea of hauntings and ghosts.

Many people who know me well, including some of the magazines of  which I write for have suggested I contact you and share my  information with you.  Please, when you have a moment, look over my  site and let me know your opinion of the article I wrote of our night  in the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast.  I would love to know your  personal opinions of our experience that night.

Last, I would like to compliment you on your appearance of the  Montel Williams show!  It is great that you had an opportunity to talk  about the house and the spirits that roam within the walls.   Ironically, the Today Show on NBC contacted me a week before Halloween  and flew my husband and me out to NYC.  They contacted me due to my vast experience and knowledge of the paranormal, as well as their  interest in the odd things I've seen over the years.  I was 
interviewed on the Today Show on Halloween!!  I suggested the Lizzie  Borden story as one of the ideas they question me about, and I also  made mention of our honeymoon night spent at the house!  The video can  be seen on the front page of my site.

Thank you again for your great hospitality.  I think the entire Borden  B&B staff is doing a wonderful job in preserving and teaching history,  and opening up the walls of secrets to let the public create opinions  based on their own experiences within the house.  I hope that my site  and the experiences described by my husband and me will encourage  those who read my report to make plans to at least tour the house, and  have the courage to spend the night.  A few people have actually  contacted me since I posted our report and I have highly recommended 
they reserve a room for a night to try and experience the same  activity as Hans and me.
